SERVICES FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS (Adventurers)

Do you know a child or youth with a developmental disability, a physical disability or autism? He or she may benefit from joining Adventurers; a community-based program where groups of youth and children work together towards healthy growth and development.

As an “Adventurer,” children will be able to:

  • form friendships with peers
  • improve their social skills
  • explore the community in a group setting

Eligibility criteria

For those with developmental and/or physical disabilities and/or autistim (18 years old and under), who are looking for group recreational activities where they can improve their social skills and develop friendships with peers. Must be safe in a 3:1 ratio of children/youth to staff.
