Services for Children with Support Needs (Adventurers)

Do you know a child or youth with a developmental disability, a physical disability or autism? He or she may benefit from joining Adventurers; a community-based program where groups of youth and children work together towards healthy growth and development.

As an “Adventurer,” children will be able to:

  • form friendships with peers
  • improve their social skills
  • explore the community in a group setting

Eligibility criteria

Priority is given to school age children. For children and youth (ages 5-18) with developmental and/or physical disabilities and/or autisim who need group recreational activities to improve social skills and develop friendships with peers.

Can you access the program directly?

No. A referral is required. Please get a referral through your Child and Youth Support Needs (CYSN) social worker.
