Family Resource Programs

Are you a parent, grandparent, guardian or caregiver of a child between the age of 0-6 years of age? You may benefit from a drop-in program where you can:

  • Network with other families
  • Access community resources
  • Enjoy playtime with your children, including Circle time, stories sand music, and age appropriate activities
  • Have access to professionals in Early Childhood
  • Help your child’s development and growth.


Healthy, nutritious snacks can be made available to your children as you enjoy the program.

Cost to Participate

A $1.00 per child donation is requested for drop-in. If this is a hardship, special arrangements can be made.


The Family Resource Program is offered at several Surrey locations:

  • CloverValley Family Resource Program (CVFRP)
  • Guildford Family Resource Program (GFRP)
  • Newton Family Resource Program (NFRP) and Mobile NFRP at Beaver Creek Elementary School
  • Parent Educaton and Peer Support (PEAPS)
  • Whalley Family Resource Program (WFRP)

Parents, grandparents,  caregivers, children

Resident of Surrey with children 0-6 years old


$1.00 per child, per session 
(Individual arrangements may be available for those in financial need)
