Services to Access Recreation and Resources (STARR)

Elementary school can be difficult when you don’t feel like you fit in. If your child feels left out or detached from his or her peers, he or she could find a sense of belonging at Services to Access Recreation and Resources (STARR).

STARR is a group-based out of school (before, recess, lunch and after) program that facilitates recreational and leadership activities. Once enrolled, your child can increase his or her feeling of connectedness to school, strengthen his or her positive relationships and increase self-esteem through fun group activities.
