The Parent-Child Mother Goose ProgramWho this program is forA group experience for parents and their babies and young children up to the age of 3 1/2 years, focusing on the pleasures and power of rhymes, songs and stories together. The program is for any parent / care giver who wishes to strenghten their communication and attachment with their child. Program ObjectivePARENTS
CHILDREN
Program DescriptionEach group of parents / care givers and children (birth - 2 years or 2 years - 3 1/2 years) meets with two teachers once a week, for 10 weeks at a time. Sessions are relaxed with parent, child and teacher sitting on the floor, learning songs, rhymes and stories. Teaching is directed at the parents with children joining in. Each group is about one hour, including snack and discussions. A snack is provided, and the program is FREE for participants. Transportation assistance is available. Program LocationGroups are offered in Newton, Guildford, Whalley, Clover Valley and in various languages (i.e. Korean). Please refer to our posted list.
